By using Adventures Of (theadventureof.com), placing an order, or uploading photos to our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and anyone who accesses or uses Adventures Of. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to Adventures Of. “You” refers to you, the user or customer.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to place an order. By placing an order you represent that you meet this requirement.

Adventures Of is a personalized storybook creation platform. We use AI to generate custom illustrations and stories featuring a specific child, based on photos and information provided by you.

We offer the following product formats:

• Digital book — a high-resolution PDF delivered electronically, available for immediate download
• Softcover printed book — a printed physical book shipped to the address you provide
• Hardcover printed book — a premium hardback physical book shipped to the address you provide

All print orders include the digital version at no extra charge.

Adventures Of is designed to celebrate children through joyful, age-appropriate stories. To keep this a safe and family-friendly platform, the following content is strictly prohibited:

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or refund any order that violates these guidelines. Violations involving content that harms or endangers children may be reported to appropriate authorities.

By uploading a photo, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child pictured, or that you have the parent's or guardian's explicit permission to do so.

Your book belongs to you.

Once you have purchased a book, you own that specific book and the illustrations created for it. You may print it, share it with family, frame pages from it, post it on social media, and enjoy it in any personal way you like.

What you may not do:

• Resell the book or its illustrations, or use them for any commercial purpose
• Claim authorship of the story or illustrations as your own original creative work
• Use the generated content to create derivative works for commercial distribution

Our platform:

The Adventures Of website, brand, software, and generation technology are owned by Adventures Of and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or reproduce any part of our platform without our written consent.

Digital books:

Because digital books are delivered instantly and cannot be “returned,” refunds are evaluated case by case. If the book does not resemble the child or the story does not reflect the details you provided, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will either regenerate the book or issue a full refund.

Physical books (print):

If your printed book arrives damaged, with printing errors, or does not match what was shown in your digital preview, contact us within 14 days of receiving the book and we will send a replacement at no charge or issue a full refund. We do not require you to return a damaged book.

Shipping costs:

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped, printing defect, etc.).

How to request a refund:

Email hello@theadventureof.com with your order number and a brief description of the issue. We typically respond within one business day.

Exclusions:

Refunds will not be issued if the dissatisfaction is due to information you provided that was incorrect or incomplete (for example, a name spelled differently than you typed it, or preferences you did not mention during the creation flow).

All prices are displayed in USD and are inclusive of applicable platform fees. You are responsible for any applicable taxes in your jurisdiction.

Payment is processed securely by Stripe. By providing your payment information, you authorize Adventures Of to charge the amount shown at checkout. Your order is confirmed only after successful payment processing.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time. Price changes do not affect orders that have already been placed and paid.

For print orders, estimated delivery times are provided at checkout and are estimates, not guarantees. Adventures Of is not responsible for delays caused by third-party shipping carriers.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Adventures Of and its owners, employees, and partners will not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our service
• Any loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption
• The accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any particular purpose beyond personal enjoyment
• Delays or errors caused by third-party services (shipping carriers, payment processors, etc.)

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Adventures Of will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Adventures Of is provided “as is.” We make reasonable efforts to ensure the platform is available and that the books we generate are high quality, but we do not guarantee:

• That the service will be available without interruption
• That AI-generated illustrations will be a perfect likeness (the quality depends in part on the photos you provide)
• That the service will meet every specific expectation you may have for the book

If you are unsatisfied for any of these reasons, our refund policy in Section 5 applies.

Your use of Adventures Of is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read it carefully — it explains how we handle photos of children, what data we collect, and how we protect your family's information.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our service, legal requirements, or business practices. We will post the updated terms on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

Your continued use of Adventures Of after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Adventures Of will be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis — not as a class action — in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

Nothing in this section prevents you from bringing a claim in small claims court if it qualifies.
